Feature: Cody Cobb by Colin Czerwinski

These images were captured during an aimless and solitary drive through the American West. Some of these photos reflect my ongoing pursuit to capture portraits of the Earth's surface, free from the interference of humans while the others feature a collision of the two. My long drives always take on a strange rhythm, oscillating between ancient wilderness and sudden reintroduction into civilization. These two states are uniquely chaotic and my photography is an attempt to find the rare moments of quiet and stillness.

Feature: "Extra Ordinary" by Mark Rammers by Colin Czerwinski

On a daily basis we visit numerous places and take them for granted, acknowledging their existence yet failing to pay attention to the beauty they behold. ‘Extra Ordinary’ brings the viewer to these places and invites people to stop and stare, to come closer and to take in the structures they easily overlook. It encourages us to marvel at the world, ask questions about how it’s being created and what influence it truly has on our daily existence.

These images have been taken during multiple journeys to Spain, where many industry and trade takes place in designated areas outside the cities, the ‘Polígonos Industriales’. These, often immense, zones boast a fantastic collection of architecture, shapes and colors, but are meanwhile not the places you are likely to spend a lot of time looking for beauty.

The Exhibition, Extra Ordinary, will be hosted at Werkplaats, Volkshotel in Amsterdam until February 23, 2017. Limited edition prints will be available for sale.
